Trifinity Software has released a maintenance update for Seagull Video Player, bringing it to version 2.5. Seagull Video Player is a video utility designed for creating and executing playlists on a users desktop. The update features interface mods and other enhancements. According to Trifinity Software:

Trinfinity Software released today an update to their very popular Seagull Video Player, the innovative application for creating, managing, and viewing video playlists.

This update contains an improved user interface, including the option to view the playlists as a collection of thumbnails. This view displays the poster frame of each video along with itis name and order in the playlist. The size of the thumbnails can be adjusted using a slider.

The application now includes a video library similar to the music library in iTunes. The library and the playlists can be exported as plain text or as tab delimited files.

You can find more information about the Seagull Video Player update at the Trifinity Software Web site. The update is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$20.00.
