Security Tool Deep Freeze Goes Intel

· by · News

Faronics on Wednesday released a new version of its security tool Deep Freeze, adding support for Intel processors. The software enables users to set up their computers the way they want and keep them that way, loading that version of the operating system when they restart. Any changes made during a session are only temporary, unless theyire created in a "thawed" area of the computer, such as a user directory.

Deep Freeze integrates with Apple Remote Desktop and sell for US$29.95 per license, with volume discounts available. Mac OS X v10.3 or v10.4 is required.
