KavaSoft announced the immediate availability of the digital image management application, Shoebox 1.7, on Monday. The updated version adds the ability to sort images based on content, including dates, people, places, and things. It also adds a Categories option to the toolbar, improves the display options, and improves performance on multiprocessor Macs.
Shoebox 1.7 is available for download at the KavaSoft Web site, and is priced at US$79.99 for the Pro version, or $29.99 for the Express version. Shoebox Express limits the number of stored images to 10,000.
