Silver Screen Studios Plans Power Mac Buy

· by · News

Silver Screen Studios announced that it plans to purchase several Power Mac workstations to use in its feature film digital production studio. The company is currently raising US$1 million so that it can purchase the Macs along with digital production software from Adobe.

Silver Screen Studios also says it is restructuring its business model in an effort to stimulate additional growth. Unfortunately, the studio is basing its restructuring on a "success story" that never happened: Apple Computer selling Pixar Entertainment to Disney. Although the computer maker and animation company shared Steve Jobs, Apple did not own Pixar.
