Small Tree Announces Gigabit Ethernet 34mm ExpressCard for MacBook Pro

Small Tree Communications announced Monday the release of the Small Tree PEG34m, a Gigabit Ethernet 34mm ExpressCard for the Apple MacBook Pro. The device has a foldable RJ-45 connector, and Small Tree claims it is the thinnest ExpressCard on the market. Working in conjunction with the computeris built-in Gigabit Ethernet port the PEG34m supports 802.3ad link aggregation and Jumbo frames up to 9000MTU.

The PEG34m is priced at US$79, and is available immediately. In addition to Mac compatibility, the device works with a variety of Windows laptops with a 34mm ExpressCard slot.
