Spiderweb Software Catches Avernum Bugs In An Update Web

· by Mike Washlesky · News

Spiderweb Software has released an update for Avernum 3, bringing it to version 1.1.1. Avernum 3 is a fantasy/role playing game where the player has the choice of saving the world, or enjoy watching it crumble. The update fixes OS X bugs. According to Spiderweb Software:

Spiderweb Software has just upgraded its newest fantasy role-playing game, Avernum 3, to v1.1.1.

Avernum 3 features an enormous scenario, with well over 100 towns, villages and dungeons. There is a fascinating story and a dynamic world which changes as time passes. Refugees move from town to town. People die. If nothing is done, towns will crumble into dust.

This update fixes a number of bugs and makes Avernum 3 fully compatible with Macintosh OS X. The new version can be found at the Spiderweb web site (URL below).

This update also fixes a serious bug in the recent OS X version (v1.1) which kept some people from being able to save their game. Upgrading is highly recommended.

You can find more information about the Avernum 3 update at the Spiderweb Software Web site. Avernum 3 v1.1.1 is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$25.00.
