Synchrotech Introduces ExpressCard CompactFlash Reader

Synchrotech announced its CFExpressPro+ ExpressCard to CompactFlash reader on Wednesday. The card fits standard ExpressCard 34 and 54 slots, and can transfer data to your Mac at up to 2.5Gbps.


Synchrotechis CFExpressPro +

The CFExpressPro+ supports CompactFlash Type I and II, PIO mode, and UDMA mode (CompactFlash Specification Rev. 4.1). Data transfer speeds for UDMA mode can reach 40MB/sec. It requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher, and is compatible with the MacBook Pro.

Pricing and a shipping date have not yet been announced.
