Taking Notes Has Never Been Easier

Vincent Jalby has updated his Apple NotePad replacement, iNotePad, to version 1.2. iNotePad allows users to save styled notes, and easily publish saved notes to the World Wide Web. According to Mr. Jalby:

iNotePad is the definitive alternative to Appleis NotePad. It has much more features but it keeps simplicity and ease of use of Appleis?Note Pad. It can store styled text notes, save them as text file or clipping and print them. It can encrypt any note, and use alarm/reminder.

With iPublish, you can publish your note(s) on the Internet with one mouse click!

This version has many new features and bug fixes, including:

  • Drag and drop a clipping file or a text file or a text selection to the list of notes creates a new note.
  • Encrypted notes and folders cannot be delete.
  • New window menu with help, minimize (main) window, hide sticky notes commands.
  • 2-clicks window shade to sticky windows
  • Custom templates for iPublish.
  • iPublish links URLs.
  • Support for Korean encoding in iPublish.
  • Popup menu to quickly move a note in a folder.
  • Basic AppleScript support (more to come).

iNotePad is available for US$14. You can find more information at Mr. Jalbyis Web site.
