Tom Bihn is now taking orders for two new cases for laptop users. The Size 2 Monolith is a hard-shell case designed for older model PowerBooks. The ID is a messenger style carrying bag that features several pockets and is compatible with other hard case covers. According to Tom Bihn:

TOM BIHN introduces two brand new products to help you haul around your laptop in style.

Finally, a vertical case for your 14" iBook or older PowerBook models. The Size 2 Monolith has all of the same features and advantages of the smaller, Size 4 model - hard-shell case to provide optimum protection, 500 Denier Cordura®, and a #9 YKK zipper. Its vertical design is made specifically for use inside your favorite daypack. The Size 2 Monolith is available now!

A brand new look for TOM BIHN messenger bags, the ID: You define it.

The ID Bag is a mid-sized messenger style bag that is stylish and urban, yet still suitable for the office. The main compartment is big and open, with snaps inside so that the ID can become a laptop-carrying bag by adding the Size 4 or Size 5 Brain Cell laptop case by Tom Bihn.

The quick-access pocket on the front flap closes with a water-resistant zipper. A flat pocket on the back will hold your favorite izine or paper, and a removable waist strap provides extra stability when youire on a bike.

You can find more information about the new laptop cases at the Tom Bihn Web site. The Size 2 Monolith is available for US$40.00 and the ID is available for US$80.00.
