Trans International Announces Mac Pro RAM Kits

Trans International announced its new memory upgrade kits for the Mac Pro on Friday. The memory chips are fully buffered 72-bit DDR2 ECC DIMMs (FB-DIMM) that operate at 667MHz. Trans International claims that its specially designed heat sink system allows for better heat dissipation and improved memory performance.

The Mac Pro memory upgrade kits will start shipping on August 28, and will be available in capacities ranging from 2GB up to 16GB. Pricing starts at US$499.
