Trans International announced on Wednesday the immediate availability of the The Pro Caddy. This is a mounting solution that allows the Mac Pro optical bay to be modified to accept a conventional SATA or ATA/IDE hard disk.
No modifications, no replacements and no dismantling is required. The interface does not affect the air flow.
The hard disk is not included.
The Pro Caddy is priced at US$39.00. If a SATA to PATA adapter is included, it is priced at US$69.00.
