VFXTalk announced the launch of the VFX Challenge Series 3 on Friday. The contest includes a different challenge each month for the next 12 months designed to test the skills and creativity of visual effects artists. Entrants can use any digital imaging tools for any operating system they want, including Appleis Shake.
Prizes for the monthly winners include a new Mac mini, a US$300 coupon from Visual Media, and training DVDs from CmiVFX. The grand prize winner will walk away at the end of the contest with a copy of Eyeon Softwareis Fusion 5, which unfortunately is a Windows only product.
