Valentia Adds Java, Shockwave, OS X Support

Paradigma Software has announced a new "technology release" of their Valentia line of products, version 1.8.7. The popular database product has added support for a number of equally popular programs and environments, including Macromediais Shockwave, Mac OS X, and REALbasic. According to Paradigma Software:

Paradigma Software announced theavailability of technology release 1.8.7, including powerful newfunctionality to most SDKs and MacOS X support. It introduces the releaseversion of Valentina for Java (VJSDK), Shockwave safe and Authorwarefriendly Valentina for Director, and MacOS X ready versions of Valentinaapplication and Valentina for REALbasic.

Valentina for Java is the first of Paradigma Softwareis line of databasetools for development of client side pure Java applications. VJSDK includesimplementations for Macintosh and Windows development and includes theValentina application (VAPP) for rapid creation and modification ofobject-relational databases.

Valentina for Director release 1.8.7 is now Shockwave safe, meaning theValentina runtime can be downloaded with a Director Shockwave project. Italso includes compatibility with Macromedia Authorware. Valentina forDirector is available for Macintosh and Windows platforms.

Valentina for REALbasic 1.8.7 is the MacOS X compliant version of theValentina implementation for the popular visual BASIC environment,REALbasic, supporting REAL Softwareis native MacOS X and Classiccompilation.
