Visitors to Apple.com up 23% in One Year

Web traffic to Apple.com grew 23 percent in Q1 2007 compared to Q1 2006, according to Nielsen/NetRatings in a report provided to TMO. The biggest growth was seen in the iTunes and Apple stores.

In Q1 2006, there were 34.8M unique adudience visits to Apple.com. In Q1 2007, the number grew to 42.9M, 23 percent growth.

The fast growing channels at Apple were iTunes, the Apple Store, and .Mac with growth rates of 48, 30, and 17 percent respectively.

In addition, in March 2007, Apple was the #1 ranked site in its category, Hardware Manufacturers.
