WiebeTech announced the immediate availability of the ProSATA SS8 portable UltraSCSI RAID on Wednesday. The system includes eight removable SATA II drive bays for up to 6TB of storage, includes a built-in RAID controller, and connects to computers via UltraSCSI. It supports all RAID formats and JBOD, and uses a Quick Install feature to configure the system.
