Windows Vista Live Demo Tanks

· by · News

Microsoft recently offered the media a demonstration of the voice recognition features in Windows Vista. Much to the amusement of the attendees - and Microsoftis dismay - the presentation didnit go exactly as planned. Windows Vista wasnit able to distinguish between the words "mom," and "aunt." Spoken editing commands failed to produce expected results, too.

This letter would worry my aunt.

A video of the demonstration is available at the YouTube Web site.

Thanks to TMO reader Andrew McIntosh for the heads up.
