The InStep Group, Inc. has released an update for InStep Fax, bringing it to version 2.2. InStep Fax is designed for sending faxes via a wireless setup. The latest version features expanded device support including VisorPhones and the Treo line. According to The InStep Group:

The InStep Group Inc., makers of InStep Print™ and InStep Fax™, the premier print and fax solution for mobile users, announced today the release of version 2.2, greatly expanding the reach of the handheld industry’s only fully integrated print and fax application suite.

InStep has always cited output quality and ease-of-use as paramount to its success and with version 2.2, InStep is once again raising the bar to new heights.

InStep Fax™ allowed mobile users to expand direct point-to-point fax beyond laptop and desktop computers. With version 2.2, device support has been extended to include leading edge products like Handspring’s VisorPhone and Treo product lines plus Samsung’s i300 smart phone.

Now, with a single device, users can send word processing, mail, spreadsheet or other documents directly from their device to any Group 3 fax machine from any geographic location covered by their cellular service or via a modem connection to a standard telephone wall jack.

You can find more information about the InStepFax update at The InStep Group Web site. InStep Fax 2.2 is avilable for US$19.95.
