YAI 1.2 Improves Microsoft Exchange Support

· by · News

John Maisey announced the immediate availability of YAI 1.2 on Monday. The updated version of the meeting invitation translation plug-in for Mail improved the conversion of Microsoft Exchange meeting invites into an iCal-compatible format.

YAI handles the conversion of Outlook, Google Calendar, and Exchange-style meeting invitations for iCal. The Mail plug-in now better handles Exchange invites from different times zones, fixed an issue with invitations that generate a warning about the recipient not being on your "me" card, and improved how event updates are handled. The update also added options for flagging, color coding, marking as read, and copying or moving messages.

YAI is available for download at the John Maisey Web site, and is priced at £2 (about US$4.06). The update is free for registered users.
