YML: Apple Over-promising and Under-delivering

· by · News

Your Mac Life (YML), with Shawn King, which airs every Wednesday night, will talk about how Apple seems to be over-promising and under-delivering lately.

"Whatis going on at One Infinite Loop?" Mr. King asked. "Have you noticed how many times in the past 18 months Apple has announced a product or ship date, only to have it fade away into the calendar, sometimes with no acknowledgement from Apple?

"Leopard, the iPhone SDK, 1000 movies on the Apple TV, Time Capsule....all over-promised and under-delivered by Apple. On tonightis Your Mac Life, weill discuss these issues and dissect what we think is wrong and what causes it - served up with some suggestions of our own to fix the problem.

"On Tuesday, Apple had its annual shareholders meeting and, as usual, the exciting was almost swallowed whole by the mundane. Weill discuss the meeting and the (sometimes) important news that came out of it."

YML is videocast each Wednesday night from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM Pacific Time or from 8:30 PM to 11:00 PM Eastern Time. An audio only version only is also available.
