IOGEAR And USB-IF Working Together For USB 2.0

IOGEAR has announced the partnership with USB-IF( Implementers Forum) in the advancement of the next wave of USB technology. USB-IF is an organization devoted to the promotion and implementation of USB 2.0, which is designed to be faster than the current USB 1.0. According to IOGEAR and USB-IF:

IOGEAR paves the way for the advancement and adoption of next generation Universal Serial Bus (USB) technology by sharing its latest USB 2.0 peripherals with the USB Implementers Forum, Inc. (USB-IF).

The USB-IF, a non-profit organization established to promote USB technology, has used IOGEARis USB 2.0 CD-RW and external hard drive enclosures to promote USB 2.0 awareness and performance benefits. High-speed USB 2.0is advanced technology will benefit both consumers and businesses by offering users a data speed of up to 480 Mbps, 40 times faster than the current USB 1.1 solutions.
