Apple Camera RAW Update Adds Support for New Cameras

Apple released Digital Camera RAW 3.6 late on Wednesday for Aperture 3 and iPhoto ‘11 users. The update added support for importing images from six new DSLR cameras.

The update added support for:

  • Canon EOS Rebel T3 / 1100D / Kiss X50
  • Canon EOS Rebel T3i / 600D / Kiss X5
  • Olympus E-5
  • Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100
  • Pentax K-r
  • Pentax K-5

The update also corrected image processing issues for the Nikon D7000 and COOLPIX P7000, along with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 and Lumix DMC-GH2.

The update is free and available via Apple’s Software Update application, or as a downloadable installer at the Apple Support Web site.
