Apple released LED Cinema Display iSight Firmware Update 1.0 late on Wednesday. The firmware update for Apple's 24-inch LED backlit display corrects a problem where the built-in iSight camera isn't recognized by some applications.

The update requires Mac OS X 10.5.8 or 10.6.2 and an Intel-based Mac with Apple's 24-inch Cinema Display. LED Cinema Display iSight Firmware Update 1.0 is available as a free download at Apple's Support Web site.

How about iMacs? Does anyone else here have problems with the “No camera connected” when trying to use the built in iSight on Intel iMacs?
I have tried the suggestions at Apple’s support website to no avail. It is still under warranty so I guess I will just have to call it in or drag down to the Genius Bar.
Hi
I have that problems, too
I have tried firmware at Mac Pro’s LED Cinema Display on Mac OS X 10.6, but failed and disconnected.
so I still cannot use my isight
Is there any solution about this?
I am going to call AppleCare on Monday and will let you all know what they say. Good thing that I am not a smoker or it could void my Mac warranty, see this story.
