Apple Highlights FaceTime, AirPlay in New iPhone 4 Ads

· by · News

Apple aired two new commercials on Sunday that highlight the iPhone 4’s FaceTime video chat and AirPlay wireless video and audio streaming features.

FaceTime is Apple’s video chat service that works with the iPhone 4, fourth generation iPod touch and iPad 2, along with the Mac. The company touts the feature as an easy way to stay in contact with friends and family.

AirPlay is an iOS 4.3 feature that streams video and audio over Wi-Fi networks to devices like Apple TV, and users can change the device they’re streaming to in real time.

Assuming rumors that new iPhone models will ship in September are true, these could turn out to be the last iPhone 4 commercials Apple releases.

Both ads are available for viewing at the Apple Web site.
