Apple Launches Facebook Page for App Store

· by · News

Apple’s Facebook page for iTunes isn’t alone now that the company has launched a new page just for the App Store. Apple plans to use the new Facebook page to highlight iPhone and iPod touch applications, show off the best selling apps, and interact with customers.

Apple is enticing Facebook members to join the App Store fan page by saying “Join the App Store page on Facebook to get free exclusive offers, share your favorite apps with friends and get hot tips, tutorials, and more.”

Since the iPad launch is scheduled for this Saturday, April 3, Apple will presumably start highlighting apps for the new multimedia tablet soon, too.
