Apple Patent Turns Your Games into Comics

· by · News

Apple recently filed a patent that describes a system where users could take the video games they play and turn the action into comic books, according to Patently Apple.

Presumably, users would be able to record their gameplay from their Mac, iPhone, iPod touch or iPad. Once the game action is saved, it can be dropped it into a comic users can edit and share, and even print through an online service.

Assuming rumors that Apple TV will get an update that lets users play games, it seems likely that Apple would extend the service to its home entertainment console, too.

The idea of saving what happens in video games in comic book format seems interesting, and may also be a hint that Apple is taking the electronic gaming market seriously.
