Apple Posts iPhone OS 4 Preview Video

· by · News

Apple hosted a special media event on Thursday where the company offered a preview of iPhone OS 4.0. If you weren’t among the handful of journalists invited to the event, you can still see what was announced now that Apple has posted a video of the presentation on its Web site.

Steve Jobs shows off iPhone OS 4

Apple used the event to show off features in iPhone OS 4.0, due out this summer for the iPhone and iPod touch, and this fall for the iPad. The new version of the operating system will add a long list of new features such as multi-tasking support for third party applications, a unified email in box, a new social gaming network, iBooks for the iPhone and iPod touch, and more.

The Apple iPhone OS 4 Event video is available in QuickTime format at the Apple Web site.
