Apple Posts Video of Full iPhone 4 “Antennagate” Press Conference [Update]

· by · News

Apple posted a video Friday afternoon of the full iPhone 4 “Antennagate” press conference that took place earlier in the day. The video covers everything from the “Song a Day” video for “The iPhone Antenna Song” to Steve’s closing statement. The Q&A session at the end of the event, however, is omitted.

Apple doesn’t often post videos of its media events — though this is the first non-product announcement press conference we can think of since Steve Jobs returned to Apple in 1997 — and it certainly marks the fastest turnaround for those videos it has posted.

In other words, this is an important enough issue for Apple to A.) hold a press conference, and B.) release the video within an hour of the event’s conclusion.

I hate that term “antennagate”. This an engineering problem not a scandal/crime/coverup.
