Apple Releases Snow Leopard Font Update

Apple has released Mac OS X v10.6.7 Snow Leopard Font Update, a software update that fixes some font display issues in the current version of Snow Leopard.

Apple’s patch notes:

  • Address an issue in which some OpenType fonts don’t display correctly in certain applications
  • Resolve issues printing from Preview
  • Address an issue with PDF files not opening in third-party PDF viewing applications
  • Resolve invalid font errors when printing to PostScript printers

The update can be found in Software Update, where it is a 4MB download.

A little too late if this was the same problem that wasn’t allowing Turbo Tax to print.
