Apple updated AirPort Utility to version 5.2.2 Thursday evening, an update that includes three bug fixes. The company has separate KnowledgeBase articles for Mac OS X and Windows users, but the patch notes for both operating systems are the same.
To wit:
- Resolves an issue that caused the DHCP settings tab to display incorrectly
- Resolves an issue that caused the application to quit unexpectedly when automatically launched
- Resolves an issue that prevented the network password from being stored in the Keychain when the network on the 5GHz band was named differently
The update for Mac OS X users is a 12.3MB download through Software Update, or a 10.29MB download as a standalone installer from Apple’s Web site. The update for Windows users is a 10.04MB download from Apple’s Web site.
