Apple Store Offline Ahead of iPad Media Event

Apple’s online store was replaced with the familiar “We’ll be back soon” message Wednesday morning ahead of the company’s 10AM pacific time media event. The company is expected to unveil the third generation iPad this morning, and may show off an updated Apple TV, too.

Rumors claim the new iPad will include a higher resolution display, a faster processor and better graphics performance, a better camera, and longer battery life. The Apple TV is rumored to be adding 1080p video support and better performance.
