Apple Stores Hosting Summer Training Camps for Kids

· by · News

Apple is hosting a series of learning events for children aged 8 through 12 this summer at its own retail locations. The events, dubbed Apple Camp, will show kids how to express themselves creatively with Apple's iLife applications in three-hour sessions.

Kids can participate in music, photo editing, and movie making classes where they'll learn how to use GarageBand, iPhoto, iMovie and iDVD. Budding film makers, photographers and musicians can sign up for the free Apple Camp events at the Apple Retail Web site.

This is too cool. I’ll definitely be signing my daughter up for a couple of these classes. Most likely, the classes for iPhoto and GarageBand (assuming that they’re broken out by title).
