Apple Updates Mac OS X 10.6.3 Update

· by · News

Apple quietly released an updated version of its Mac OS X 10.6.3 update on Monday. The company isn’t, however, saying what’s changed since the Mac operating system update was originally released on March 29.

The Mac OS X 10.6.3 v1.1 update page on Apple’s Web site still lists the 69 security fixes and other improvements included in the original update, and if the revised update doesn’t appear for users that have already installed Mac OS X 10.6.3.

Mac OS X 10.6.3 v1.1 Update is available as a free download at the Apple Support Web site.

MobileMe was a trainwreck after 10.6.3 upgrade for me, hopefully that’s what they’ve fixed.

After I ran this update, an update to the MobileMe Backup software popped up in SU and updated me to version 3.2 is this just a coincidence? Has everybody else already upgraded to this version of Backup?

Why doesn’t the 6.3.2 update show when I select the Apple Software Update menu?
