Aquamacs 2.0 Adds 64-bit Support, More

The Aquamacs Project announced the immediate availability of Aquamacs 2.0 on Monday. The new version of the Emacs-based code and text editor for Mac OS X added 64-bit support along with an updated user interface.

Version 2.0 improved dialogs for opening and saving documents, printing, configuring fonts and colors, and displaying user messages. Text display is now Unicode-based, toolbar configuration has been improved, editing modes for Python, Ruby, ESS and LaTeX/AucTex have been improved, and more.

Aquamacs 2.0 is free and available for download at the Aquamacs Project Web site.
