Aspyr Media on Wednesday said that this summer it will ship Guitar Hero World Tour, which expands on the original gameplay concept by adding drums and vocals. Featuring 86 songs from such bands as The Eagles, Van Halen, Metallica, and The Doors, World Tour offers not only online and offline gameplay modes, including Battle of the Bands mode, but also a Music Studio that allows players to create and edit original songs.
Pricing and system requirements were not announced, and a web page for the game is not yet available at Aspyr's web site.
