AT&T LTE Launches in Tucson, 4 More Cities

AT&T expanded its high speed LTE data network coverage to include Tucson and Green Bay on Wednesday. The cell service provider has been working to increase its LTE coverage area over the past few months and has plans to continue growing.

AT&T's newest LTE cities include:

  • Oxford, Mississippi
  • Tucson, Arizona
  • Melbourne, Florida
  • Springfield, Massachusetts
  • Green Bay, Wisconsin

The company also expanded its LTE coverage areas in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Salt Lake City and New Brunswick.

LTE offers substantially faster wireless data speeds than 3G or 4G, and is available on the iPhone 5, third and fourth generation iPad with Retina Display, and the iPad mini. AT&T's LTE coverage recently came to Denver and Boulder, Colorado, along with Milwaukee, Wisconsin, too.

I live in Milledgeville, Georgia and do not have LTE, but when I go to Atlanta which has LTE, boy is it fast.
