PlayFirst on Friday announced that Diner Dash 5: BOOM! will be headed to Mac and PC on February 16 in a Collector’s Edition, with a standard edition arriving two weeks later. The Collector’s Edition will feature five levels of gameplay at the advanced difficulty setting, a strategy guide walkthrough to reach expert level, a behind-the-scenes digital art book, and an animated screensaver and wallpaper.
The fifth edition in PlayFirst’s popular series of time management games opens with Flo’s Diner accidentally exploding. Players must rebuild the diner, with more than 1,000 possible combinations of fixtures and décor. They earn the money for those objects by progressing through 50 levels of food serving across DinerTown.
The Collector’s Edition of Diner Dash 5: BOOM! will sell for US$19.99, while the standard version will be $6.99. A product page was not available on the PlayFirst web site when this article was published.
