Araelium Group announced the immediate availability of DMG Canvas 2.0 on Tuesday. The new versions of the disk image creator for Mac OS X added support for custom text objects and images in DMG background layouts.
The new version also added the ability to show or hide the tool bar and sidebar in disk images, the ability to show or hide file name extensions, support for customizing individual icon sizes, Tiger and Leopard compatibility for disk images created in Snow Leopard, and more.
DMG Canvas 2.0 is priced at US$15 and is available for download at the Araelium Web site. The upgrade is free for all registered users.
