Prosoft Engineering announced the immediate availability of Drive Genius 3.0 on Wednesday. The new version of the Mac OS X disk maintenance utility added 64-bit support along with RAID support.
Version 3.0 added a new feature called Drive Pulse that monitors your hard drive status and can send email alerts when possible problems occur. The new version also added an enhanced defragmentation feature, enhanced repartition, improved email notifications, improved overall performance, and more.
Drive Genius 3.0 is priced at US$99 and is available at the Prosoft Engineering Web site.
