dvGarage Ships New Maya Tutorial

dvGarage and the Gnomon School of Visual Effects have released a new tutorial for Maya users, "The Maya Lab: Volume 1". The Maya Lab is a tutorial traning CD designed as a step-by-step introduction to the popular graphics application. The CD ships with tutorials for both the Full and PLE editions of Maya. dvGarage teams up with the Gnomon School of Visual Effects up to bring Maya to wider audience. "The Maya Lab: Volume 1" provides the lessons to provide users new to Maya a visual, step-by-step, introduction to the powerful but sometimes complicated application.

The disk contains training that takes users through the basics of modeling, surfacing and lighting. Each tutorial provides video and illustrated Acrobat files that carefully cover every step necessary to be successful.
