Following Wednesday’s introduction of the new iPad with high resolution display, Apple released iBooks Author 1.1 for the Mac. The update added support for the iPad Retina Display, and improved app performance and stability.
iBOoks Author adds Retina Display support
iBooks Author is Apple’s application for creating interactive text books for the iPad. It includes several book templates, and Pages-like layout features, and support for glossaries, videos, photo galleries, and embedded Keynote presentations.
iBooks Author requires OS X Lion and is available as a free download at Apple’s Mac App Store.
