Hobbyist Software announced the immediate availability of iBrowse 2.0 on Thursday. The new version of the iOS-based Web browser added support for the iPad along with a new Power Search feature that lets users type shortcuts to jump to specific Web sites.

iBrowse can load new Web pages in the background, displays open pages, bookmarks and browser history as groups of flowing tabs, offers full-screen browsing, and more.

iBrowse 2.0 is priced at US$2.99 and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
