iPad Line at NY Apple Store Starts with iPhone Guy

| News

Greg Packer, the guy that waited in line four days to be the first person to buy an iPhone at Apple’s Fifth Avenue flag ship store, is back in line again waiting to be the first to get his hands on an iPad. This time, however, Mr. Packer seems to be pacing himself because he started the line only two days ahead of Saturday’s iPad launch.

Like last time, Mr. Packer is out on the sidewalk in front of the store sitting in a folding chair patiently waiting for the doors to open on Saturday morning. A Hungarian tourist interviewed Mr. Packer while he waits alone in his line of one and posted the video on YouTube, too.

Jeff,

Jeff, it is grammatically correct to refer to people as ‘who’ rather than ‘that’, as you quote “Greg Packer, the guy that waited in line four days?”

You’d think Steve Jobs would know enough to hire hot chicks to be the first 10 in line. Instead, Jabba the Hut is the public face of iPad lust.
