Lightroom, Camera Raw Updates Support Additional Cameras

Adobe announced the immediate availability of Lightroom 3.3 and Camera Raw 3.3 on Tuesday. The updates added support for 15 new digital cameras along with profiles for over 60 new camera lenses.

Lightroom 3.3 is Adobe’s pro photo management, editing and presentation application. Camera Raw 3.3 lets users work with a wide range of Raw image formats.

New camera models supported with the updates include:

  • Canon PowerShot S95
  • Nikon D3100
  • Nikon D7000
  • Nikon Coolpix P7000
  • Olympus E-5
  • Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF2
  • Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2
  • Pentax K-5
  • Pentax K-r
  • Ricoh GXR, GR LENS A12 28mm F2.5
  • Samsung NX100
  • Samsung TL350 (WB2000)
  • Sony A560
  • Sony A580

Lightroom 3.3 also fixed several issues with editing tools, compatibility issues with social networking photo albums, photo importing from the iPhone 4, Nikon D3 ISO value importing, and more.

Lightroom 3.3 is priced at US$299, and Camera Raw 3.3 is free. The updates for both are free and available via the Adobe Updater application, or as downloadable installers at the Adobe Support Web site.
