Magellan announced the immediate availability of RoadMate 1.3 on Tuesday. The update for the iPhone GPS-based navigation app added support for iOS 4 multitasking along with support for the iPhone 4’s Retina Display.

Version 1.3 also added live traffic updates, the ability to share points of interest via email and social networks, and support for location-based offers and promotions.
Magellan RoadMate 1.3 is priced at US$59.99 for the North American version, $49.99 for the U.S.-only version, and $34.99 for the Canada-only version. The updates are free for current users and are available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
