· by · TMO Quick Tip

Apple added a new feature that lets uses create custom stations with the release of Podcasts 1.2 for iOS. The feature lets you organize your podcasts into groups, or stations, and then play episodes as if you created your own news or entertainment channels.

Setting up your own custom stations from your podcast subscriptions is pretty easy. Here's how:

  • Launch the Podcasts app and tap My Stations
  • Assuming you haven't already created any stations, tap Get Started
  • Now tap New Station, and give your station a name
  • Tap to select the podcasts you want to include in your station, then tap Done

Your custom station shows up in the My Stations list, and you can make as many as you like. This is a slick new feature that's a welcome addition to the Podcasts app because it makes it much easier to customize just how you listen to the shows you like.
