nova media announced the immediate availability of its GTM382 hardware development kit for embedded 3G devices on Thursday. The kit includes an embedded 3G module with wireless, GPS and voice functions, Mac OS X-compatible device drivers, and a mainboard with USB support.
The GTM382 supports HSPA speeds with up to 7.2Mbit/s downloads and 2Mbit/s uploads. It also includes connections for external antennas, headphones, a SIM card and a power supply. An antenna, headphones, USB cable, RF cable, and power supply are included.
