plasq announced the immediate availability of Comic Life Magiq 1.0 on Thursday. The new version of the photo-comic editing and publishing application replaces Comic Life, and gains new editing features and image effects from the Core Image and Core Animation technologies in Mac OS X 10.5.
Comic Life Magiq includes professional templates along with image editing tools like smart cut-out, warp, smudge, green-screen, and more. It also includes other image effects tools like gradients, reflections, and shadows with a WYSIWYG layout view.
Comic Life Magiq requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher. It is priced at US$44.95, and upgrades from Comic Life Basic, Comic Life Deluxe and Comic Life Apple Bundle cost $29.95.
