· by · News

SAN FRANCISCO -- Roxio announced the immediate availability of Toast 10 Titanium and Toast 10 Titanium Pro at Macworld Expo on Monday. The new version of the CD and DVD burning application added the ability to send video from your Mac to your TiVo, and supports AVCHD archives.

Version 10 can save video for Web playback, streams video content to an iPhone or iPod touch via Streamer, merges audiobook tracks into a single file, and synchronizes folders on different hard drives or computers. It can also capture streaming audio as tracks, and tags each file with title and artist information before sending them to iTunes, and more.

Roxio also introduced Toast 10 Titanium Pro. The new addition to the Toast family is geared towards creative pros, prosumers, and hobbyists looking for more control over video-based discs. It supports HD and Blu-ray disc burning, SmartSound SonicFire Pro, BIAS SoundSoap, LightZone, and FotoMagico.

Toast 10 Titanium is priced at US$99.99, and Toast 10 Titanium Pro costs $149.99. The HD/Blu-ray Disc plug-in is also available separately for $19.99.

You?ll need to convert your videos into MPEG-2 format. Your TiVo will not properly recognize any other video formats, including MPEG-1 and MPEG-4.
