The drive includes 500GB storage, a built-in rechargeable battery that runs for up to five hours (25 hours in stand by mode), can sync content with your computer via drag and drop or Seagate’s companion application, and can transfer data with user’s computer via cable, too. The GoFlex Satellite supports streaming content to three devices at the same time, and offers 802.11g and n compatibility.

Users can also set folders to auto-sync from their computer for additional file storage, too.

Seagate plans to have the GoFlex Satellite on store shelves in July for US$199.

Does it support enterprise wireless?
Does it support encrypted data transfers?
What other security protocols does it engage?
Is it battery operated? (that’s just for laughs)
