· by · Product News

Skype released Skype 2.8 hotfix 1 for Mac on Thursday. The update addressed compatibility issues with Apple's recently released Mac OS X 10.6, or Snow Leopard.

The update also addressed stability and performance issues, window drawing problems, interface issues, and more. Known issues that still need to be addressed include a problem where Skype could crash when hanging up on a participant in a conference call, and an animated icon display issues in Snow Leopard.

Skype 2.8 hotifx 1 is available as a free download at the Skype Web site.
